After Disney+ launched in 2019 it dropped numerous original series taking fans into different parts of a galaxy far, far away. In 2022 they brought the most divisive and adult version of Star Wars to date with Andor that serves as a prequel to Rogue One. After critical acclaim fans have been eagerly waiting for the adventures of Cassian Andor and now its almost over with season two coming in just over a month.

 

Star Wars: Andor follows Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

In the second season, as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound. Rife with political intrigue and danger, the series is a prequel to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” which portrayed a heroic band of rebels who steal the plans to the Empire’s weapon of mass destruction—The Death Star—setting the stage for the events of the original 1977 film. “Andor” sets the clock back five years from the events of “Rogue One” to tell the story of the film’s hero, Cassian Andor, and his transformation from disinterested, cynical nobody into a rebel hero on his way to an epic destiny.
